Unlocking Opportunities for AI Excellence
Research Project
Opportunity to work on an AI/ML research project under the guidance of a faculty advisor or a Swades.ai expert.
Industry Internship
A semester-long practicum working on applied AI projects at Swades.ai to gain valuable real-world experience.
Seminars/Conferences
Support for attending seminars and conferences to stay updated on AI advancements.
Computing Resources
Access to GPUs and other computing resources to develop AI models and conduct cutting-edge research.
Fellowship Details
The fellowship term is from August 1, 2024, to July 31, 2025, offering a monthly stipend of INR 1,00,000, INR 40,000 for books, and up to INR 4,00,000 for overseas conference travel.

- Up to INR 4,00,000 travel allowance for overseas conferences
Documents Required to Apply

- BTech (3rd/4th year)
- MTech (New admissions/1st/2nd year)
- PhD (New admissions/any year)
Applicant must haves
- Good knowledge of the fundamentals of computer science
- Genuine interest and passion for exploring new ideas and technologies
Applicant Good to Have
- Published papers in reputable, peer-reviewed conferences/journals is an added advantage
Documents Required to Apply
Applicants must be students in the Computer Science Department at top Indian universities who will be one of the following in the Fellowship grant year:
- Detailed resume mentioning academic credentials, work experience (if relevant) & publications/patent filings
- A written statement of purpose (no more than 140 words)
- Submit a written research proposal on the proposed AI project (not more than 4 pages)
- 2 letters of recommendation from either: Faculty member of the Computer Science department or Direct supervisor/manager at a company where the applicant might have done an internship or project
